“A slow, captivating effervescence. Pure, ripe aromas of yellow fruit, pastry and roasted notes, with hints of citrus... Jasmine and bergamot vie to emerge from this remarkable complexity of flavors. The structure is equally dynamic, with a finish carried by the nobility of a minerality that makes our taste buds salivate.” (Les Meilleurs Vins de France 2016 - Gault Millau)

Rated estate (2017 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)
About the wine:
Rich, full of flavor, and extremely easy to drink, the Reliance [...] perfectly captures the estate’s style.
About the estate:
For the past twenty years, this estate has been committed to organic and then biodynamic farming to produce "organic-friendly, easy-to-digest champagnes that the body recognizes and absorbs easily, offering simple pleasure and a sense of well-being." Biodynamics has given meaning to the life of Franck Pascal, an engineer by training. The vineyard is dominated by Meunier and Pinot Noir, planted on flint and millstone clay soils, spread across five communes on the right bank of the Marne Valley. Yields are low. After a learning phase in natural winemaking and a few missteps, Franck has created champagnes with character, aimed at a public seeking vinous depth and the taste of the terroir. The wines are now of a remarkable standard. The extra-brut dosage levels and disgorgement dates are listed on each bottle.
