“A harmonious blend of flavors and indulgence, wonderfully balanced”
“The grapes’ fine ripeness lends the wine a relaxed aromatic profile with good intensity. The palate is full-bodied and rounded, with a creamy, delicate effervescence that adds depth. This is a bottle made for the table.” (Le Guide RVF 2024)

Rated estate (2026 guide) 5*Stars (Exceptional producers, those representing the absolute pinnacle of quality in France and around the world)
About the wine:
2018 vintage. A harmonious blend of flavors and richness, melting on the palate, with a natural, elegant texture; refined on the palate and a hint of minerality on the finish, with a vinous character.
About the estate:
Brought to the pinnacle of success by the Chiquet brothers, Laurent and Jean-Hervé, the house is the standard-bearer for champagne among discerning connoisseurs. Recently, François Pinault acquired a stake in the company. We highly recommend these great, deep, and elegant champagnes. Each new cuvée 700 (now 743) is a major creation and receives the utmost attention. It then ages under cork before reappearing as a DT (late disgorgement) version. The single-vineyard wines with the ultimate complexity come from Dizy (Corne-Bautray, Chardonnay), Aÿ (Vauzelle-Terme, Pinot Noir), and Avize (Champ-Caïn, Chardonnay), and are produced only when the terroir is at its peak. The 2009 vintages exhibit exemplary vibrant warmth and endless depth. Magnificent.

About the wine:
Disgorged in November 2022 with a dosage of two grams per liter, the NV Extra-Brut Cuvée No. 746 is from the 2018 vintage. The grapes come from Avize and Oiry (32%) and Hauvillers (68%). It offers a delicate, ripe bouquet with aromas of freshly baked bread, ripe orchard fruits, almonds, dried flowers, and smoke. Medium-bodied to full-bodied, it is rich with an enveloping fruit core, a precise mousse, and a delicate, fragrant finish influenced by ripe orchard fruits.

Rated estate (2026 guide) 3*Stars (These represent the pinnacle of French winemaking. The finest terroirs cultivated by the greatest winemakers. Tasting their wine is always a magical experience)
About the wine:
The grapes’ fine ripeness lends the wine a relaxed aromatic profile with good intensity. On the palate, it is full-bodied and rounded, with a creamy, delicate effervescence that adds depth. This is a bottle made for the table.
About the estate:
A new chapter in the company’s history begins with the departure of brothers Laurent and Jean-Hervé Chiquet, who elevated this fine house to the highest echelons of the Champagne region. The Artémis Group has now taken the reins under the leadership of Jean Garandeau, but the teams remain unchanged: Yann Le Gall, cellar master, and Mathilde Perrier, vineyard manager, are still here to carry on the house’s legacy. The 700 cuvées account for the majority of production. What a long way we’ve come since the release of 728, from the 2000 vintage! The estate releases a late-disgorged cuvée every year; the first to be produced and released was 733, based on the 2005 vintage. Only a few single-vineyard cuvées are produced, depending on the quality of the vintage.
Jeb Dunnuck
Wine rated (2023 guide) 94/100
About the wine:
Based on the 2018 vintage, which was a sunny, early-ripening vintage, the NV Cuvée 746 Champagne has a dosage of two grams per liter and is composed of approximately 50% Chardonnay, with the remainder being Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, and about 25% reserve wine. The wine has a highly reflective straw color and is immediately very aromatic, with savory notes of citrus and ripe berries. The palate is juicy and inviting, with an accessible, silky fruitiness and a fine mousse. It is wonderfully balanced, reflecting the warmth of the vintage, and possesses a structure that should ensure good longevity over the next 10 to 15 years.
