Champagne Jacquesson
Champagne Jacquesson was founded in 1798 by Memmie Jacquesson. The House of Jacquesson prospered rapidly and attracted the attention of Napoleon 1st, who awarded it a gold medal in 1810 "for the beauty and richness of its cellars".

The Maison Jacquesson has never ceased to perfect its production techniques, and is now one of the most renowned in Champagne. Acquired by the Chiquet family in 1974, Jacquesson Champagnes today concentrate their efforts on an extremely high quality production limited to 350,000 bottles, which enables them to use non-industrial production methods and produce benchmark champagnes for many connoisseurs. Over 200 years of history and unique, rigorous know-how have made Jacquesson Champagnes a jewel in today's Champagne crown!

The history of the house

Jacquesson takes third place in the list of the best champagnes selected by the Revue du Vin de France. Ahead of Bollinger and Krug, Jacquesson stands out for its quality bottles. Tasters have made this brand a benchmark. Jacquesson was founded in 1798. It produces some 350,000 bottles of champagne a year. To stand out from the crowd, it uses non-industrial design methods reserved for top-of-the-range vats. Napoleon 1st was a real fan of Jacquesson Champagnes. In fact, he awarded it a gold medal in 1810. The Chiquet family bought the Jacquesson brand in 1974. They then moved to Dizy, where they rebuilt a trendy house. The Chiquet brothers, with their passion for wine, were behind the renaissance of this brand, which was to prove a hit with consumers. The champagne house is based on 30 hectares of vineyards in Avize, Dizy, Ay and Hautvillers. The brand is becoming increasingly well known, but this doesn't mean it's overproducing. In fact, the company remains focused on cuvées made from plot-based vines.

Highly classified champagnes

Champagne connoisseurs turn to Jacquesson for fine cuvées with unique personalities. Low dosage and ageing in casks make each cuvée a real treat. The 736, for example, develops powerful, somewhat salty aromas. Nevertheless, it's important to remember that the number changes every year. Next year, it will surely designate another more or less tonic note. The house offers to satisfy you with its deep, complex fragrances enhanced by a beautiful silky touch. Jacquesson's Dizzy rosé will surprise you with its tender fruity notes punctuated by a touch of fresh menthol.

Wine à la carte

In 1999, Jacquesson wanted to emphasize its independence. It therefore focused on its own grape varieties and plots of land. But it didn't forget to value its people and its territory. Cuvée 728 was launched, marking the Manifesto of Cuvées 700. Each bottle is marked with 3 numbers, recalling its year of birth.
