Champagne Jacquesson
Champagne Jacquesson was founded in 1798 by Memmie Jacquesson. The Jacquesson House quickly prospered and attracted the attention of Napoleon I, who awarded it a gold medal in 1810 "for the beauty and richness of its cellars."
Maison Jacquesson continues to perfect its production techniques and ranks among the most renowned Champagne houses. Acquired in 1974 by the Chiquet family, Jacquesson Champagnes now focus their efforts on producing an extremely high-quality range of 350,000 bottles, which allows them to use non-industrial production methods and produce champagnes that are considered benchmarks by many connoisseurs. Thus, more than 200 years of history and unique, rigorous expertise have made Jacquesson Champagnes a flagship of today's Champagne region!

The history of the house
Jacquesson ranks third in the Revue du Vin de France's list of the best champagnes. Hot on the heels of Bollinger and Krug, Jacquesson stands out thanks to its high-quality bottles. Tasters consider this brand to be a true benchmark. The small house was founded in 1798. It produces around 350,000 bottles of champagne annually. To stand out from the crowd, it uses non-industrial production methods reserved for high-end vats. Napoleon I was a real fan of Jacquesson champagnes. In fact, he took care to award it a gold medal in 1810. The Chiquet family bought the Jacquesson brand in 1974. They then set up shop in Dizy and spearheaded the reconstruction of a trendy house. The Chiquet brothers, who are passionate about wine, are behind the rebirth of this brand, which is proving very popular with consumers. This champagne house is based on a 30-hectare vineyard located in Avize, Dizy, Ay, and Hautvillers. The brand is becoming increasingly well known, but this has not led it to overproduce. In fact, the house remains focused on cuvées from single vineyard plots.
Highly rated champagnes
Champagne connoisseurs favor Jacquesson, which offers beautiful cuvées with unique personalities. The low dosage and aging in oak barrels make each cuvée a true delight. The 736, for example, develops powerful, slightly salty aromas. However, it should be noted that the number changes every year. Next year, it will surely have a different, more or less invigorating flavor. The house aims to satisfy you with its deep, complex aromas and a beautiful silky touch. Jacquesson's Dizzy rosé will surprise you with its tender fruity notes punctuated by a hint of fresh mint.
Wine by the glass
In 1999, Jacquesson sought to emphasize its independence. It therefore focused on its grape varieties and vineyards. It did not neglect to promote its people and its territory. The 728 cuvée was launched, marking the Manifesto of the 700 Cuvées. Each bottle is marked with three digits indicating its year of birth.
Discover also the Cuvée 742 Jacquesson, which comes from a harvest in Ay in 2014 and in Dizy and Hautvillers. This cuvée has a dosage of 1.5 grams per liter.
