A bold businessman, Henri Macquart was the pioneer and founder of the Centre Vinicole de la Champagne in 1972, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. His primary goal was to bring winemakers together to ensure the sale of their grapes. Nicolas Feuillatte, born in 1926 into a family of prominent wine and spirits importers, invested in the Champagne vineyards and created a champagne bearing his name in 1976. The brand was an immediate commercial success, and he sold it to the Centre Vinicole de la Champagne in 1986.

Today, Nicolas Feuillatte comprises 5,000 passionate winegrowers united in 82 cooperatives. The group represents one of the largest vineyards in the Champagne appellation in terms of area, quality, and diversity. It offers an exceptional variety of wines, selected and masterfully blended by its cellar master, Guillaume Roffiaen.
