A bold businessman, Henri Macquart was the pioneer and founder of the Centre Vinicole de la Champagne in 1972, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. The primary goal was for winegrowers to unite to ensure the sale of their grapes. Nicolas Feuillatte, born in 1926 into a family of major wine and spirits importers, invested in the Champagne vineyards and created a champagne bearing his name in 1976. The brand was an immediate commercial success, and he sold it to the Centre Vinicole de la Champagne in 1986.

Today, Nicolas Feuillatte represents 5,000 passionate winemakers united in 82 cooperatives. The group is one of the largest vineyards in the Champagne appellation in terms of area, quality, and diversity. It offers an exceptional variety of wines, selected and masterfully blended by its cellar master, Guillaume Roffiaen.
