"Assertive freshness!"
" Always a unique and characteristic shimmering raspberry color. The nose develops this aroma associated with freshly crushed strawberry flesh, with the great accuracy and purity of a grenadine mixture. The palate reflects this juiciness and transparent flesh, with a few cherry tones and mouthwatering notes highlighted by the Chardonnay. Nothing but fruit!" (Le Guide Bettane + Desseauve).

About wine:
Always with a unique and characteristic shimmering raspberry color. The nose develops this aroma associated with freshly crushed strawberry flesh, with the great accuracy and purity of a grenadine mixture. The palate reflects this juiciness and transparent flesh, with a few cherry tones and mouthwatering notes highlighted by the Chardonnay. Nothing but fruit!
About the estate:
What can be said about this winery other than that it is in dazzling form, led by cellar master Frédéric Panaïotis, at the peak of his art, and by technical teams in the vineyard, in the cellar, and in support functions, all driven by the same high standards and the same desire to innovate. The entire range has gained spectacularly in precision and intensity, without losing any of its style based on aromatic brilliance. Focusing mainly on Chardonnays from the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims, the champagnes all display great delicacy and aromatic purity, with remarkable expressions of chalk, flowers, white fruits, and citrus. We were very impressed by the latest editions of the Dom Ruinart cuvée. Committed to art and creativity, the house calls on the greatest talents to interpret its DNA, style, and art de vivre.

Wine rated (2024 guide) 91/100
About wine:
Ruinart's non-vintage rosé is always drawn to the slightly deeper end of the Champagne rosé spectrum, although it retains much of the house's lively and rich Chardonnay DNA. The sunny 2020 base year is full of red plums, strawberries, and tangy, sweet mandarins, young and easy but beautifully supple. With its peppery spices and rose petal complexity, this is a rosé that celebrates the juiciness of Pinot Noir while transcending simplicity.
Guide Hachette des vins
Rated estate (2024 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the estate:
The oldest champagne house. It could be classified as a historical monument, as are its cellars dug into the chalk during the Gallo-Roman period, which have been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2015. The founder of the business, Nicolas Ruinart, added wine trading in 1729 to his cloth merchant business—another thriving industry in the region at the time, which was soon abandoned. The company remained family-owned until it was taken over by Moët & Chandon in 1963. Its prestigious champagne takes its name from the monk Dom Ruinart, a contemporary scholar of Dom Pérignon. Chardonnay has been at the heart of Ruinart's cuvées since 1947, for a style that favors freshness. Frédéric Panaïotis has been the cellar master since 2007.

Rated estate (2025 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing good wines; you won't be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)
About the estate:
The first Champagne house, founded in 1729, enjoys an excellent reputation in France thanks to its remarkable work in marketing and in developing the style and identity of its wines. The emphasis is on Chardonnay, fine reduction on lees and creaminess for wines that are a hit with customers who are very attached to the brand. Under the leadership of Frédéric Panaïotis, the cellar master, the wines have gained in purity and precision. The champagnes presented this year confirm a return to the right dosages, precise maturity and greater complexity.

Like all current Ruinart vintages, this Champagne offers a beautiful balance between fruit finesse and maturity. This wine is toasty, with hints of red fruit and citrus. It is ready to drink.

About wine:
An appealing, dry rosé with a multitude of red berry aromas, particularly wild strawberries, but behind this lies the structure of a serious Chardonnay from the limestone soils of this region, and it is the limestone texture that anchors it in the long finish. Drink now.
