Rated estate (2012 guide) 2** stars (Successful production)
About the estate:
"In 1991, Bernard Renucci took over the family estate in Féliceto, in Balagne, in the Réginu Valley. The 17 hectares, situated on granitic sandy soils, are planted with the Corsican grape varieties sciacarellu and nielluciu, as well as vermentinu (white), complemented by Syrah and Grenache. The vineyards are tilled and cultivated without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. The wines, produced in all three colors, are labeled under the Corse Calvi appellation.”

Rated Estate (2014 Guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking, and as such, all the estates listed here—even those without a star—represent, in our view, the excellence of French wine production.)
About the estate:
“This hardworking and passionate winemaker runs a 17-hectare estate on the Feliceto Valley plain (Balagne), along with a small hillside plot. Established in 1992 and planted through 2005, the vineyard has a relatively young average age. But Bernard Renucci perfectly compensates for this minor, temporary drawback through careful yield management, a focus on ripeness, and meticulous winemaking. Vignola, the estate’s sole cuvée, beautifully illustrates in the bottle the perfect balance between these various factors, resulting in generous wines that nonetheless preserve the finesse of this alluvial terroir.”
