Domaine Zuria - IGP Ile de Beauté Santa Giulia 2024
"An expression of Vermentinu in purity and finesse"
Overlooking one of the most beautiful beaches in southern Corsica, the Vermentinu grapes of Santa Giulia express themselves beautifully in this cuvée. Its nose is charming with citrus and exotic fruits, with delicate floral and iodine notes. Its palate is lively and elegant, pure and refined. Notes of citrus, fresh apple, and almond unfold, enhanced by an acidity that brings freshness, balance, and richness, with a taut and mouthwatering finish.

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2025 guide) 3 stars (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)
About the estate:
Christian Zuria, a citrus grower, switched from clementines to Bonifacio wine. With the planting of the incredible Spinella plot, on a large and exciting terroir, the Zuria family now owns an elite vineyard (3.5 hectares). The first wines from the Stintinu (limestone and granite in complementary bands) and Musella plots show the strength of the terroir. The estate has taken on Burgundian Jean-Pierre Confuron as an advisor, which will undoubtedly enable the red wines to continue to improve. The white wines rival those of Tarra di Sogno.

Rated estate (2025 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing good wines; you won't be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)
About the estate:
Christian Zuria began planting vines in the historic Santa Manza area in 2013. With the help of his wife Nadine and son Yvan, he has accomplished a monumental task. With its demanding viticulture, this young estate continues to develop, with a spectacular winery at the foot of the vineyards and a tasting cellar on the outskirts of Bonifacio in 2021. Vermentino and Sciaccarellu are well suited to this unique limestone area overlooking the town. They also feature in the Aria range, made from purchased grapes: accessible wines with a lighter style than those of the estate.
