“A subtle blend of Niellucciu, Grenache, and Minustellu, this bright, carmine-red wine immediately stands out for its delicate aromas of overripe black berries accented with blond tobacco. Very well-structured without being overpowering, the palate unfolds with lovely notes of black pepper on the finish. ” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2019) Cuvée Hommage!

About the wine:
A subtle blend of Niellucciu, Grenache, and Minustellu, this bright, carmine-red wine immediately stands out for its delicate aromas of overripe black berries accented with blond tobacco. Very well-structured without being overpowering, the palate unfolds with lovely notes of black pepper on the finish.
About the estate:
An oenologist involved in the revival and promotion of the island’s wines, Yves Leccia founded his own estate in 2005, after managing the family business alongside his sister for about fifteen years. Today, together with his wife Sandrine, he runs a 16-hectare vineyard on clay-limestone and schist soils in Poggio-d’Oletta. Certified organic since 2017, it is one of the pillars of the Patrimonio appellation and is also frequently recognized for its Muscat wines.

Rated Estate (2022 Guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or high-quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the estate:
Yves Leccia and his partner, Sandrine, run a vineyard located primarily on the E Croce and Partinelone plots. The entire vineyard is plowed and cultivated, and only organic fertilizers are used. The estate has been highly innovative in recent years, introducing new wines such as O Bà, Biancu Marinu, and L’Altru Biancu. These meticulously crafted wines remain fine ambassadors for Corsican viticulture, but care must be taken not to overshadow their individuality: some wines, more standardized than in the past, place too much emphasis on technical precision.

Beautiful, glossy black color. An elegant and subtle, southern-style nose (I can actually detect a hint of licorice!). A delicious, tannic palate. Perfect with the finest red meats. Ready to drink now, but there’s no rush.
