“A pure Biancu Gentile bursting with energy—both full-bodied and zesty!”

"A clear, brilliant gold. Very aromatic, with mineral notes, white fruit, and a hint of chalk. The palate is invigorating, with beautiful vibrancy, full-bodied, ripe, and briny. This is a Biancu Gentile of great purity and elegance, with subtle bitter notes that linger; this 2023 vintage is ready to drink, without any artificial oak influence, and offers significant aging potential—more than five years.” (Le Guide RVF 2026)

About the estate:

An oenologist dedicated to the revival and promotion of island wines, Yves Leccia established his own winery in 2005, after managing the family estate alongside his sister for some fifteen years. Today, he and his wife Sandrine run a 16-hectare vineyard on clay-limestone and schist soils in Poggio-d'Oletta. Certified organic since 2017, it is one of the pillars of the Patrimonio appellation, often noted as well for its Muscat wines.

Wine rated (2026 guide) 93/100

Rated estate (2022 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About the wine:

Light gold, brilliant. Very aromatic, with mineral notes, white fruit, and a hint of chalk. The palate is invigorating, with lovely vibrancy, full-bodied, ripe, and briny. This is a Biancu Gentile of great purity and elegance, with subtle bitter notes that linger; this 2023 vintage is ready to drink now, with no artificial oak influence, and offers significant aging potential—more than five years.

About the estate:

Yves Leccia and his partner, Sandrine, run a vineyard located primarily on the E Croce and Partinelone plots. The entire vineyard is plowed and cultivated, and only organic fertilizers are used. The estate has been highly innovative in recent years with new wines such as O Bà, Biancu Marinu, and L'Altru Biancu. Meticulously crafted, these wines remain fine ambassadors for Corsican viticulture, but care must be taken not to overshadow their individuality: some wines, more standardized than in the past, place too much emphasis on technical precision.
