Note: Robert Parker 91/100
"The 2008 vintage of Pieza el Caldero is composed of 96% Aragon and 4% Grenache, aged over 70 years. It was aged for 12 months in American oak barrels before being bottled without filtration. Slightly less exuberant than Pieza el Coll (but also a little more complex), it offers greater density and structure, with ripe, succulent fruit. It is likely to evolve for 1 to 2 years and will give much pleasure until 2018." (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)
