Bodegues Sumarroca

Bodegues Sumarroca is a family-owned estate located near Barcelona, between the villages of Sant Sadurní d'Anoia and Monistrol d'Anoia (Alt Penedès), whose winemaking journey began in the early 1980s.

The Bodegues Sumarroca vineyard currently spans nearly 465 hectares of vines. The soil is calcareous, clay-loamy, with an average organic matter content. The care taken in environmentally friendly viticulture and the effort to restore wooded areas on the land deserve special mention. The main grape varieties grown are Tempranillo, Merlot, Grenache, and Syrah for reds, and Parellada, Macabeu, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat, and Gewürztraminer for whites.
