Bodegues Sumarroca

Bodegues Sumarroca is a family-owned estate located near Barcelona, between the villages of Sant Sadurní d'Anoia and Monistrol d'Anoia (Alt Penedès), whose wine-growing adventure began in the early 1980s.

The Bodegues Sumarroca vineyard currently covers nearly 465 hectares of vines. The terroir is calcareous, clay-loamy, with an average organic matter content. The care taken to ensure environmentally friendly viticulture and the effort to recover wooded areas on the land should be highlighted. The main grape varieties grown are Tempranillo, Merlot, Grenache, and Syrah for reds, and Parellada, Macabeu, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat, and Gewürztraminer for whites.

Bodegues Sumarroca produces wines and cavas based on a principle of very high quality, a philosophy that has been successful in many countries.
