Bodegues Sumarroca

Bodegues Sumarroca is a family estate located near Barcelona, between the villages of Sant Sadurní d'Anoia and Monistrol d'Anoia (Alt Penedès), whose winegrowing adventure began in the early 1980s.

The Bodegues Sumarroca vineyard currently covers some 465 hectares. The terroir is limestone, clay and silt, with medium organic matter content. The care given to environmentally-friendly viticulture and the effort to recover wooded areas on the land must be emphasized. The main grape varieties grown are Tempranillo, Merlot, Grenache and Syrah for the reds, and Parellada, Macabeu, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat and Gewürztraminer for the whites.

Bodegues Sumarroca produces wines and cavas on a principle of the highest quality, a philosophy that has led to success in many countries.
