Deep purplish-red color. On the nose, sun-ripened, but also freshly crushed red and dark fruit—cherries, raspberries, elderberries, and plums. Additionally, some reductive and floral notes, as well as lovage. On the palate, plenty of juicy and crisp red fruit—red berries, grenadine, and raspberries with that characteristic tartness—along with fine acidity, good grip, some body, and a firm tannin structure that still needs to fully round out. Ready to drink now in its youth. Delightful fruit-forward character. Score: 15.5/20
