“The 2008 Besllum is a blend of 45% Grenache, 45% Cariñena, and 10% Syrah, and is aged for 16 months in French oak barrels. Also dark in color, it displays an enticing bouquet of smoky wood, exotic spices, incense, lavender, blueberry, and black cherry. In the glass, it is opulent, full of sweet fruit, and voluminous. A great find from 2008—a very pleasant surprise. A full-bodied, rich wine with smooth tannins. Pure delight.
