"Enter the world of the Barbier family with this 100% Grenache Noir, perfectly combining elegance and indulgence!"

The change that began in 2022 is even more noticeable in the 2023 La Figuera, especially after last year's experience with an earlier harvest to preserve more freshness. This year has been even more extreme, and the wine is more voluptuous, with a decadent, fruity nose, abundant notes of beeswax and honey mingled with aromas of ripe berries and flowers. It is expressive and a little heady with 14.5% alcohol, and it has a rich, juicy palate with very fine tannins. [...] 2025-2028" (Robert Parker 2025)

About wine:

The change that began in 2022 is even more noticeable in the 2023 La Figuera, especially after last year's experience with an earlier harvest in order to preserve more freshness. This year has been even more extreme, and the wine is more voluptuous, with a decadent, fruity nose, abundant notes of beeswax and honey mingled with aromas of ripe berries and flowers. It is expressive and slightly heady with 14.5% alcohol, and has a rich, juicy palate with very fine tannins. It comes from one of the areas that suffered the most; the soil dried out and many plants died. The wines are therefore concentrated due to lower yields, which was very difficult, a situation that worsened in 2024. 2025-2028

About wine:

Of excellent quality, it is generous and lively, with generous notes of spicy red fruits, orange peel, and a beautiful tension due to its acidity. Even with its energetic and full-bodied structure, it has a smooth texture and an aging potential of 8 to 10 years. 2025-2035
