The Clos Mogador estate was founded in 1979 under the expert guidance of René Barbier, a member of a French family of winemakers eager to put his own expertise to the test. Having fallen in love with the lands of Catalonia, he settled in Gratallops, and very quickly, his talent established Clos Mogador as a true benchmark for the Montsant and Priorat appellations.
Today, Clos Mogador is known worldwide as the greatest wine of Priorat. Each year, it produces precise vintages of extraordinary quality and elegance that highlight the terroir, lending the wines an impressive freshness and minerality.
