Pazo de Galegos

Pazo de Galegos is a small, family-owned winery founded in 1990. Located in the upper part of the Ulla Valley in the province of A Coruña, 15 km from Santiago de Compostela, its goal is to produce wines that truly reflect the terroir.

Pazo de Galegos owns 4 hectares of vineyards and leases an equal amount from local growers. The vineyards are situated at an average elevation of 226 meters. In this valley with an oceanic climate and “Mediterranean” characteristics, the soils are primarily sandy loam, ideal for grapevines. Vineyard management is traditional yet sustainable.

Pazo de Galegos’s motto is to produce authentic wines without oenological interventions. Rigorous work in the vineyard ensures the highest possible quality. After harvest, the wines age slowly, at their own pace. The result is wines of great complexity and distinct character. Spirits and liqueurs are also produced according to the same philosophy.
