Pazo de Galegos

Pazo de Galegos is a small family-run winery founded in 1990. Located in the upper part of the Ulla Valley in the province of A Coruña, 15 km from Santiago de Compostela, its goal is to produce wines that truly reflect the terroir.

Pazo de Galegos owns 4 hectares of vineyards and leases an equal amount from local growers. The vineyards are situated at an average altitude of 226 meters. In this valley with an oceanic climate and “Mediterranean” characteristics, the soils are primarily loamy-sandy, ideal for viticulture. Cultivation methods are traditional yet sustainable.

Pazo de Galegos’s motto is to produce honest wines, without oenological interventions. Rigorous work in the vineyard ensures the highest possible quality. After harvest, the wines age slowly, at their own pace. The result is wines of great complexity and distinct character. Spirits and liqueurs are also produced with the same philosophy.
