“The 2011 Nic displays intense balsamic aromas, notes of incense, Cuban cigars, and fine woods, as well as a core of ripe fruit without the slightest hint of excess or overripeness. It does not reflect the warmth of the vintage. The aging process has been gentle on the fruit, giving the wine a certain restraint and elegance. On the palate, it is medium-bodied to full-bodied with very fine tannins, superb balance, beautiful length, and surprising freshness for this vintage. While it can be enjoyed now, it should also improve and develop greater complexity with age.” (Wine Advocate – Robert Parker) Improving year after year!
