Contador Benjamin Roméo - Rioja Qué Bonito Cacareaba 2012
93/100
Robert Parker
Rating: Robert Parker 93/100, Guia Penin 95/100
“Qué Bonito Cacareaba 2012 is an unusual blend of Garnacha Blanca, Malvasia Riojana, and Viura, vinified and aged for eight months in new French oak barrels. It has a reserved nose that requires patience to reveal itself, but your efforts will be rewarded. Well-oaked with notes of yellow plum, a round texture, and good acidity, this is a great wine that demonstrates the potential of white Grenache in Rioja. Already approachable, it will be even better if you can let it gain complexity in the bottle. Drink through 2019.” (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)
