"The 2016 Gran Reserva was made with Tempranillo and 5% Graciano, which were aged in 70% French and 30% American oak barrels for 24 months. The wine is balsamic and spicy, with smoky oak notes and plenty of tannin on the palate, in need of powerful food. It is slightly tight on the palate, with a slight astringency on the finish."
