Rating: Robert Parker 92/100
“The 2009 Crianza, a blend of 95% Tempranillo and 5% Grenache, is aged for 12 months in French and American oak and boasts a polished bouquet of black cherry and fresh fig. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, good acidity, and impressive structure, as well as concentration. A Crianza that is both natural and sophisticated, worth cellaring.” (The Wine Advocate - Robert Parker) - The wine that Robert Parker named last December as the “Best Wine in the World 2012” for its value!

A quality-to-price ratio that's hard to beat; be sure to open it beforehand; a range of flavors and aromas that unfold gradually in the glass

Rated on an absolute scale, which seems clearer; consequently, good value for money. Aroma of crushed cherries. Lots of red fruit on the palate. Should age well for 5 years. A score of 13/20 seems appropriate to me.

Very, very good! Voted by Parker as the world's best value-for-money wine, and it never disappoints me!

Good value for the money. Works very well with a paella, but not as well with a lamb tagine and its Middle Eastern spices.

Great value for the price, as is often the case with Rioja wines...
