Elena Fucci - Titolo 2018

Vinous
Rich aromas of violet, juniper, cherry, and blackberry burst forth on the nose. Moderately full-bodied, the juicy flavors of red cherry and blackberry are ample and dynamic, with notes of tar and pressed rose appearing mid-palate. Yet throughout the tasting, bright berries and tart mineral notes remain consistent. The structure and balance of this wine make it enjoyable to drink now, but it will also hold up until 2028." About wine:
It is impossible to mistake the pure, mineral-laden, musky fruits of Aglianico del Vulture that escape from Titolo 2018. It is dark, with notes of violet and smoke covering the glass. The silky, supple textures it contains wash over the palate with a polished wave of black fruit tinged with minerals and savory exotic spices, propelled by lively acidity. Firm tannins emerge, but the palate opens up with a lingering salty touch, as well as notes of licorice and lavender. The 2018 may not be Titolo's longest-lasting vintage, but this beauty will easily excel with medium-term aging.
