The Santo Spirito 2013 is an abundant and enriched expression of the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna. Santo Spirito partially extends over Passopisciaro, in the heart of Etna's best production areas. This sublime wine displays a dark garnet color with purple and ruby hues. Crisp notes of wild berries, cranberry, red rose, and black stone characterize the texture on the palate. 2013 was a difficult vintage, with slow and uneven ripening of the grapes for many producers. Marco De Grazia, of course, mastered the harvest date so that his fruit was picked at optimal ripeness. (Wine Advocate 2015 - Robert Parker)
