“Bright red. On the nose, notes of earth and licorice. The palate follows, more fruity and expansive, offering aromas of ripe red fruits and botanical herbs that linger into a long, lively, and full-bodied finish. The silky tannins provide a beautiful structure to these rich red fruit flavors. This is still the first cru to be harvested, about two weeks before Guardiola, which is located 350 meters higher.” (Vinous 2015)
