Dressed in a ruby robe, Valpolicella presents more mature aromas of cherry, raspberry, and plum with a hint of herbaceousness. The palate is crisp, lively, and sublimely juicy. Valpolicella DOC or Beaujolais Crus—it's almost impossible to tell them apart! What superb value for money!

Meh! The description doesn't match my tasting experience at all. An uninteresting wine...

I find the comparison with Beaujolais interesting, as I love that region. The wine is light and fruity. It's a style that I really like, especially at the beginning of fall. And the value for money... WOW!
