Labet Estate
Domaine Labet is a 12-hectare family-owned estate founded in 1974 by Alain and Josie Labet, comprising 44 vineyard plots within the Côtes du Jura appellation. Prior to that, the Labet family had already been growing grapes, but like all farms in the Jura region, they operated in a highly diversified manner, also engaging in crop farming and livestock raising. Farms tended to operate self-sufficiently, and the surplus was sold to purchase what could not be produced.

Since 2003, the estate has been joined by “Julien’s Garden”—the son’s 3-hectare plot, which has been farmed organically since 2007 (Ecocert organic conversion starting in 2009). Domaine Labet produces the full range of Jura wines, with its specialty being its single-vineyard cuvées: 17 crus, 6 reds, and 11 whites, including one made entirely from Savagnin.
