Abbotts & Delaunay wines are the result of a meeting between two passionate oenologists, and embody the know-how and exacting standards of the Languedoc region in a precise, modern style. Founded in 2005, the Abbotts & Delaunay domaine in Alon, Aude, covers 15 hectares and includes 25 parcels scattered across the hills of Magrie in the foothills of the Cévennes. Fascinated by the richness of the Languedoc-Roussillon terroirs, the Australian-Burgundian duo showcase the vineyard's formidable potential through wines full of charm and precision that are acclaimed by the most discerning connoisseurs. Terraces of rounded pebbles, sandstone, marl, limestone scree and schist scorched by the sun and swept by powerful winds make up the richness of this vineyard where Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Viognier, Grenache, Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan and Pinot Noir express themselves. Elegance, depth and balance sum up this collection of high-end wines from the Corbières, Minervois, Faugères and Limoux Languedoc-Roussillon appellations.
