Since the creation of the Les Aurelles Estate In 1995, Basile and Catherine Saint Germain adopted a very low-intervention approach to viticulture and winemaking, one that is in harmony with nature. This approach goes beyond the standards of organic and biodynamic farming certifications. All the vintages of the Les Aurelles Estate have a sulfite content below the biodynamic threshold and are certified to be free of any traces of pesticides or herbicides.

Domaine Les Aurelles isequipped with an oversized, state-of-the-art winemaking facility that allows us to maintain the highest standards, vintage after vintage. In keeping with our approach in the vineyard, the wines of Domaine Les Aurelles are aged for an extended period to give them time to fully unfold and develop harmonious aromas and textures.

Domaine Les Aurelles is a leading name in the Languedoc region and stands as the flagship of the Pézénas appellation. A truly exceptional winery!

In January 2023, the estate was acquired by Matthieu Gufflet, a Bordeaux-based entrepreneur who also owns three other wine estates: Château de Callac in the Graves region, Château Guiraud in Sauternes, and Château des Bachelards in Fleurie. The transition will take place over several years, with support from Basile and Catherine Saint Germain.
