"This wine, with its deep, clear color, offers a complex, airy, and fresh initial nose of cade, laurel, eucalyptus, and menthol, then develops warmer aromas of sweet spices. Supple on the attack, with aromas of black fruit and toast, the palate is full-bodied and rich, reinforced by tannins that are still young and lively. This wine will benefit from further aging. About wine:

This wine has a deep, clear color and offers a complex, airy, and fresh initial nose of cade, laurel, eucalyptus, and menthol, followed by warmer aromas of sweet spices. Supple on the palate, with aromas of black fruit and toast, it is full-bodied and rich, reinforced by tannins that are still young and lively. This wine will benefit from further aging.

About the estate:

Marie Boudal meticulously cultivates her old vines (24 hectares of organic land) of Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, and Mourvèdre (some of which are over 70 years old) on the steep slopes of Roquessels, in the Faugères appellation. She has two labels: Ch. des Peyregrandes and Dom. Bénézech-Boudal.

About wine:

Deep color, youthful. A delightfully Mediterranean nose, with spicy notes, herbs, stone fruits, and condiments. On the palate, a model of controlled power in a highly refined aromatic setting. Full-bodied, with well-integrated tannins. A benchmark.

A beautiful Faugères to enjoy today, with subtle aromas of figs and coffee.
