"A delicious Fitou, revealing beautiful fruitiness!"

"A beautifully structured red wine with a very deep ruby color, Fitou Autan En Emporte 2023 comes from a sandy-clay terroir. A blend of Syrah, Grenache Noir, and Carignan (45/30/25) aged for 18 months in vats, it offers both purity of expression and a tweedy texture. Rather discreet on the nose, it is full-bodied on the palate, with complex and very fruity notes, notably cherry in all its forms (fresh, candied, jammy, Amarena), garrigue, blackberry, blueberry, but also floral notes of peony and old rose (...)." (Jeb Dunnuck 2025).

About wine:

A beautifully structured red wine with a very deep ruby color, Fitou Autaun En Emporte 2023 comes from a sandy-clay terroir. A blend of Syrah, Grenache Noir, and Carignan (45/30/25) aged for 18 months in vats, it offers both purity of expression and a tweedy texture. Rather discreet on the nose, it is full-bodied on the palate, with complex and very fruity notes, notably cherry in all its forms (fresh, candied, jammy, Amarena), garrigue, blackberry, blueberry, but also floral notes of peony and old rose. The freshness is further enhanced by a subtle bitterness and fine, slightly rough tannins, with a finish that tightens with a hint of mint. A red wine to be decanted, it will continue to evolve well, becoming even more floral and racy. Drink between 2025 and 2032.
