Wine rated (2026 guide) 94/100

About wine:

Reserva Especial N°12 is refreshing, carried by its 40% Carignan, and has the fresh, racy juice of the estate. Spices and powdery tannins give this bright red all its finesse, with perfect acidity for aging.

About the estate:

Rémy Pédréno has been based on this 9-hectare estate in the historic Langlade terroir since 1999, alongside his wife Martine. Having previously worked in the northern Rhône, notably at the Rostaing estate, this passionate winemaker from Nîmes quickly took his place among the region's greats, producing elegant, taut and airy wines on this marl-limestone terroir that has been renowned for centuries. Barrel aging and extra precision in lees management have taken this estate to a new level, making it an undisputed benchmark today. Jeremy Stevenson joined Martine and Rémy after gaining experience in New Zealand, Alsace, Chile, and Oregon.
