Domaine de La Dourbie
Founded in 1781, Domaine de la Dourbie is located on the right bank of the Hérault River, at the foot of the Causse du Larzac. It owes its name to the Dourbie, a local river that flows through the vineyard before emptying into the Hérault. This location gives the estate a pivotal position between Mediterranean influences and the coolness provided by the altitude.
Domaine de la Dourbie has been cultivating its vineyards organically since 2009 and draws on three distinct terroirs. All work from the vineyard to the cellar is carried out on-site, with particular care taken during the hand-harvest.
The wines of Domaine de la Dourbie blend the richness of the Languedoc with the freshness of the highlands, offering a coherent and authentic expression of the Hérault Valley.
