Grage Mountains
Les Monts de la Grage is a municipal appellation in the Hérault department that has held Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) status since a decree issued on January 25, 1982. The Vin de Pays des Monts de la Grage wines are produced from grapes harvested in the municipalities of Assignan, Babeau-Bouldoux, Pierrerue, Prades-sur-Vernazobre, Saint-Chinian, and Villespassans.

The terroir of the Monts de la Grage Protected Geographical Indication is characterized by clay-limestone and schist soils and is predominantly influenced by the Mediterranean climate. Within the appellation, supplemented by the name of a grape variety, Vin de pays des Monts de la Grage wines must be produced exclusively from vineyards planted with the specified variety.

Each grape variety used in Vin de pays des Monts de la Grage is vinified separately, and the name of the variety must appear on each container. Vin de pays des Monts de la Grage is available in three colors, each offering a unique experience, much like the wines produced by Mas Champart.
