Domaine des Creisses
Visit Domaine des Creisses is a family estate, founded in the 19th century. Three generations succeeded one another in the twentieth century, and it was Philippe Chesnelong who took over the family tradition in 1998 with the ambition of expressing the full potential of the terroir and revealing a great vintage. Mediterranean wine.
Visit Domaine des Creisses includes 15 hectares of vines, garrigues, woods and truffle oaks. The vineyard is cultivated using the "protection raisonnée" method, which means that as little as possible is treated, but as much as is necessary. Half the vines are grassed and organic matter is regularly added to ensure balanced, lively, porous and draining soils, enabling the vines to root deep and draw water regularly.
Visit Domaine des Creisses produces two cuvées: Les Creisses, made on an 11-hectare plateau of stony clay and limestone, with deep soil, which produces dense, silky, fresh wines, and the cuvée Les Brunes, from a southeast-facing hillside (an old lava flow), which bears mourvèdre on the dark basalt soil that gave this parcel its name.

Wines from the Les Creisses site, unique expertise since the 19th century!
Les Creisses red wine is unique in its kind, marked by a beautiful aromatic brilliance. It's a delight on the palate with its intense flavor, spicy notes and vanilla-tinged licorice. In other words, a rich, gourmet red wine found nowhere else. Well-balanced thanks to well-thought-out compositions, it is nonetheless powerful yet fine. It's easy to see why its reputation extends to the four corners of France.
Les Creisses red wine has a deep nose, making it one of our most popular beverages. It opens with aromas of red fruit, reminiscent of redcurrant and blackcurrant. There's nothing like a dense, yet fresh and well-structured red wine to accompany a festive meal. Les Creisses is the perfect choice. This wine, full of power and character, is just what you need.
For Domaine des Creisses, the motto remains simple: create a tasty cuvée, both full-bodied and harmonious. And it would seem that this is just what drinkers need.
