Creisses Estate
The Creisses Estate is a family estate, established in the 19th century. Three generations succeeded one another in the 20th century, and in 1998 Philippe Chesnelong took over the family tradition with the ambition of expressing the full potential of the terroir and revealing a great Mediterranean wine.

The Creisses Estate comprises 15 hectares of vineyards, scrubland, woods, and truffle oaks. The vineyard is cultivated using sustainable methods and therefore treated as little as possible, but as much as necessary. Half of the vineyard is grassed and organic matter is added regularly to ensure balanced, living, porous, and well-drained soils, allowing the vines to develop deep roots and draw water from deep underground on a regular basis.

The Creisses Estate produces two vintages: Les Creisses, produced on an 11-hectare plateau with stony clay-limestone soil and deep roots, which produces dense, silky, and fresh wines, and Les Brunes, produced on a south-east facing hillside (an ancient lava flow) planted with Mourvèdre vines on dark basalt soil, which gave this plot its name.

The wines of Domaine des Creisses

The favorite beverage of French families, wine is always present at festive meals and cocktail parties. An essential accompaniment to delicious meals, it takes pride of place on the table. Domaine des Creisses is one of the leading wine producers, offering only the highest quality wines. A great wine, as they say, its labels are always ranked among the best.

The Domaine des Creisses in a nutshell

The ambition remains the same: to express the potential of the terroir in order to reveal the greatest wine of the Mediterranean.

Production is carefully planned to ensure sustainable wine production. This is evidenced by the fact that the vineyard is cultivated using protected and sustainable methods. Les Creisses wine therefore comes from a vineyard that is half grass-covered and regularly enriched with organic matter.

Wines from Les Creisses, unique expertise since the 19th century!

Les Creisses red wine is unique, characterized by its beautiful aromatic brilliance. It is a delight on the palate with its intense flavor, spicy notes, and licorice with beautiful vanilla nuances. In other words, it is a rich and indulgent red wine that cannot be found anywhere else. Balanced thanks to its well-thought-out composition, it is both powerful and refined. It's easy to see why its reputation extends to the four corners of France.

Les Creisses red wine has a deep bouquet, making it one of the most popular wines. It opens with aromas of red fruits, reminiscent of redcurrants and blackcurrants. There's nothing better than a dense, yet fresh and structured red wine to accompany your festive meals. That's why buying Les Creisses wine is a must. This powerful, characterful wine is just what you need.

For Domaine des Creisses, the motto remains simple: to create a flavorful wine that is both full-bodied and harmonious. And it seems that this is exactly what wine drinkers need.
