Fortant, France
Fortant de France is a wine merchant founded by the Skalli family, now represented by Robert Skalli. The family traces its origins to 1920s Algeria, where it produced full-bodied, generous wines from low-yield crops using grape varieties from the south of France. Today, Fortant de France is a leading brand in the production of varietal wines in southern France.

As with all Skalli estates, Fortant de France reflects the commitment to quality established by its founders from the very beginning, offering a complete range of wines rich in the character of their terroir of origin.

The Fortant de France wine range is divided into two categories: “coastal terroir” wines from Aigues-Mortes to Perpignan, and “hill terroir” wines, produced in a very dry garrigue landscape on hills ranging from 50 to 250 meters in elevation.
