Lacroix-Vanel Estate
The Lacroix-Vanel Estate is the result of encounters. 

First, there was Jean-Pierre Vanel—a teacher turned restaurateur—and this unique terroir of Graves and basalt in Caux (6 km from Pézenas). On this land, this budding winemaker created the Lacroix-Vanel Estate in 1998. He farms it organically and highlights the purity of this Villafranchian terroir.

Then, in 2015, Jean-Pierre met Marc-Olivier Bertrand, a young winemaker with extensive experience in the vineyards of southern France. Bertrand decided to take over Domaine Lacroix-Vanel to carry on and build upon the work begun on this remarkable terroir within the Languedoc Pézenas AOC.
