Domaine de Saumarez

In all, 10 parcels spread over 14 hectares make up the Saumarez vineyard, surrounded by hills between 80 and 150 meters above sea level and located 15 km from the sea. The estate has been certified organic since 2012. A variety of traditional Mediterranean grape varieties are grown here: syrah, grenache, mourvèdre and cabernet sauvignon for the red wines; grenache blanc, marsanne and roussanne for the white wines. Since 2014, Liz and Robin have been grafting Sangiovese and Petit Verdot. A specific cellar has been created to vinify the grapes by gravity, in order to follow natural conditions and preserve the integrity of the grapes.
