Vert de Vin
"Simply perfect and already irresistible!"
The nose is beautifully crafted, aromatic, and offers complexity, floral notes, and spices. There are hints of violet, nutmeg, and, more subtly, small wild black berries combined with touches of crushed blueberry, a hint of strawberry, green pepper, and a subtle, almost olive-like note. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, smoothness, lovely freshness, brightness, minerality and a crystalline aspect. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry and creamy small black berries combined with hints of crushed raspberry, hints of pulpy cherry, blueberry, licorice stick, as well as subtle hints of saltiness, black olive, and toast. Good length. Lovely brightness on fairly ripe red fruits. The tannins are sapid and mellow. Vert de vin 2025

About wine:
Quite traditional in style, the Saint-Chinian Mouleyres 2023 combines density and richness. A blend of Syrah (60%), Mourvèdre (30%) and Grenache Noir (10%), aged for 14 months in 500-liter demi-muids, it offers aromas of black fruits, notes of orange peel, arbutus, mocha and dark chocolate, with a touch of wood and toast from the aging process. The bouquet is carried by fine but tight tannins, a beautiful freshness, and a surprisingly juicy finish. Still young, it can easily be kept for a few more years, but it is best to decant it upon opening to soften it and bring out its full charm. Drink between 2025 and 2032.
