Clos Aguilem
Clos Aguilem spans 7 hectares across four municipalities in the heart of the Terrasse du Larzacappellation: Saint-Saturnin-de-Lucian, Saint-Guiraud, Ceyras, and Arboras. The estate was founded in 2015 by Jean-Charles Auffret, an agronomist and oenologist. The terroir of Clos Aguilem consists of calcareous marl and gravelly soils, typical of the region. Clos Aguilem practices sustainable viticulture and is currently in the process of converting to organic farming. The estate also produces other white, rosé, and red wines under the IGP Saint-Guilhem le Désert designation, under the name Mas Aguilem.
