Clos Aguilem
Clos Aguilem covers 7 hectares and four communes in the heart of the Terrasse du Larzacappellation: Saint-Saturnin-de-Lucian, Saint-Guiraud, Ceyras, and Arboras. In 2015, the estate was created by Jean-Charles Auffret, an agronomist and oenologist. The terroir of Clos Aguilem consists of limestone marl and gravelly soils, typical of the region. Clos Aguilem practices sustainable viticulture and is in the process of converting to organic farming. The estate also produces other white, rosé, and red wines under the IGP Saint-Guilhem le Désert appellation, under the name Mas Aguilem.
