Clos Aguilem

Clos Aguilem spans 7 hectares and four municipalities in the heart of the Terrasse du Larzacappellation: Saint-Saturnin-de-Lucian, Saint-Guiraud, Ceyras, and Arboras. In 2015, the estate was founded by Jean-Charles Auffret, an agronomist and oenologist. The terroir of Clos Aguilem consists of calcareous marl and gravelly soils, typical of the region. Clos Aguilem manages its vineyard using sustainable farming practices and is currently in the process of converting to organic farming. The estate also produces other white, rosé, and red wines under the Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert PGI designation, under the name Mas Aguilem.
