Clos Constantin
Located 20 km from Montpellier and close to Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, the village of Argelliers is halfway between Le Pic Saint Loup and Larzac. Pierre Halley gradually took over his uncle's vineyards. In 2017, he decided to create Clos Constantin with Samuel Durand .
The 15 hectares are divided into small plots where the soils are mainly clay-limestone and, in places, very stony and sandy. In 2020, Pierre and Samuel began grafting with mass selections, a process that will be completed in 2023. Clos Constantin expresses all the typicity of its terroir through the great drinkability of its wines!
The Clos Constantin estate is run according to organic farming principles and is in the process of converting to biodynamic farming. The wines produced are AOC Languedoc and Terrasses du Larzac.
