About the estate:

“The Baumard family settled at the Logis de la Giraudière in 1959. Florent Baumard joined his father, Jean, in 1987 and now manages the estate. Here, they alternate between tilling the soil and leaving it covered with grass (every other row) to preserve the microbial life and humus potential of the soil and prevent compaction. Thanks to his mastery of winemaking and a deep understanding of the unique character of each of his terroirs, Florent Baumard offers an astonishing range of wines.”
