Domaine de Juchepie
During a trip to France in 1985, Eddy and Mileine Oosterlinck-Bracke discovered a farmhouse nestled atop a hillside planted with old vines. Juchepie was love at first sight, and at the time, the Belgian couple had no idea they would eventually make it their livelihood. The house lacked the necessary infrastructure for running a vineyard, but their passion for wine quickly led them to a career change.
For 15 years, the couple restructured and developed the Domaine de Juchepie to make it operational. In October 2001, at the age of 50, Eddy Oosterlinck-Bracke closed his hardware store in Belgium to finally become a winemaker in France.
Today, Domaine de Juchepie spans 8 hectares, half of which are old vines, all cultivated using biodynamic methods.
