"Its exuberance reveals itself in flavors of pear syrup and candied apricot." (RVF Special Vintage 2015 - June 2016) The perfectly integrated sugars add a touch of indulgence to this very well-balanced cuvée.

Bettane & Desseauve

Rated estate (2018 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)

About the estate:

With his tapered mustache and tenor voice, Eddy Oosterlinck-Bracke and his wife Mileine indulge their passion for great sweet wines. A Belgian hardware store owner in his younger days, he felt compelled, he says, to make wine... The call of the vineyard became a reality in 2001, with 8 hectares (out of a potential 22 hectares) in Coteaux-du-Layon-Faye and Anjou, all cultivated using certified biodynamic methods since 2007. Rich and complex, the sweet wines are the benchmark for the appellation, with fairly rich barrel aging that gives the wines their substance and allows them to age well. A great place to stop and stock up your cellar!

A very nice wine! Beautiful golden-orange color... Fruity nose, quince, pear... Honey... Beautiful finesse on the palate without too much sweetness! ????
