"This refreshing white explodes with fruit!

This P'tit Chenin offers the very best typicality of the grape variety: liveliness, freshness, aromas of yellow plums and flowers. This beautifully balanced white aperitif can also be enjoyed with dishes spiced up with subtle spices, and with exotic and Asian cuisine.

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Domaine rated 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))

About the domain :

Philippe Germain - brother of Thierry Germain, of Domaine des Roches Neuves in Saumur-Champigny - also makes chenin on schist terroirs! He farms 37 hectares organically (out of a total of 43), in a magnificent setting, with the château overlooking the Saint-Aubin valley. Finer pressings, a little less ripeness at harvest for the whites, less sulfur in the vinifications have been the adjustment variables that have greatly advanced the estate, which came into the Germain family in 1996. Philippe took over the reins in 2004 with the firm intention of raising it to the top. From 2010 onwards, the turning point has been felt, and the wines are gaining in depth and brilliance. This is a sure-fire address, supported by care and hard work, and well done.

About the domain :

Managed by Philippe and Marie Germain since 2004, Ch. de la Roulerie owes its prestige to its sweet wines produced in the commune of Saint-Aubin-de-Luigné. The same rigor is applied to the vinification of the red wines. The vineyard, managed organically, covers 40 hectares.

Ah, the little Chenin from La Roulerie, fresh, with just the right amount of acidity. At that price, you can't go wrong.
