" Favorite the Coteaux Giennois wines, offering delicacy and freshness"

"A fine vintage for white wines is on the horizon in 2022, producing flavorful Sauvignon Blancs with a certain richness and subtle exotic notes, much like Champ Gibault, which is delicious now and will remain so for the next three to four years." (RVF 2024).

Rated Estate (2026 Guide) Alexis Goujard Selection

About the wine:

A promising vintage for white wines is on the horizon in 2022, producing flavorful, rich, and subtly exotic Sauvignons, such as Champ Gibault, which is delicious now and will continue to be so for the next three to four years.

About the estate:

In the shadow of the neighboring appellations of Pouilly-Fumé and Sancerre, Florian Roblin is putting the Coteaux du Giennois on the map. Two distinct terroirs stand out on this small estate: Champ Gibault (flinty clay) and Coulée des Moulins (white soil). They produce unpretentious Sauvignon Blancs and juicy reds made from Pinot Noir and Gamay. These wines offer exceptional value for the price!

First bottle, but a disappointment. It’s extremely short on the palate, and I found myself wondering what grape varieties this wine was made from!!! Before checking the technical sheet. To be confirmed or reconsidered with a second bottle.
