“This cuvée is made from equal parts Sauvignon and Chardonnay and boasts an intensely fragrant bouquet of flowers and white fruits. The fruit retains its intensity on the palate, which is full-bodied, round, and fresh all at once, with impeccable balance.” (Le Guide Hachette 2025).

Hachette Wine Guide

Guide Hachette des vins

Rated wine (2025 guide): 2 stars (Outstanding wine)

Rated estate (2024 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines are regularly recognized by the guide)

About the wine:

This blend is made equally from Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, offering an intensely aromatic bouquet centered on floral and white fruit notes. The fruit’s intensity remains undiminished on the palate, which is full-bodied, round, and fresh all at once, with impeccable balance.

About the estate:

After gaining experience in South Africa, Jean-Marie Gazeau joined his father Michel in 2005 at the family estate (53 hectares). Their wines are regularly featured in the Guide, representing various appellations in Anjou and spanning all three wine types. A sure bet.
