Hachette

“Highly expressive, the nose captivates with its exuberant fruitiness (mango, lemon, grapefruit), enlivened by a delicate hint of aniseed. The palate, in perfect harmony, is concentrated, complex, and fresh, lingering into a long, mineral finish.” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2019)

Rated estate (2019 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines regularly receive awards from the guide)

About the wine:

Highly expressive, the nose captivates with its exuberant fruitiness (mango, lemon, grapefruit), enlivened by a delicate hint of aniseed. The palate, in perfect harmony, is concentrated, complex, and fresh, lingering into a long, briny finish.

About the estate:

Based in Humbligny, young winemakers David Girard (who established his business in 2003) and his brother Luc (2011) manage a 7-hectare vineyard currently undergoing expansion: new plantings, a new winery for vinification and aging, and the creation of a tasting room.
