About the domain :
We've been following Antoine Van Remoortere's work closely since his debut in 2011. His progress at Menetou-Salon has been deliberate and gradual: production has risen from 5,000 to 50,000 bottles, the seven-hectare estate has been converted to organic viticulture, and ageing is now extended to eight months. From the very first vintages, the wines frankly reflect the identity of Menetou-Salon's Kimmeridgian marls. The range is very clear: a dashing, precise Sauvignon, a juicy, flavorful Pinot Noir (part whole bunch vinification, part 400-liter barrels for ageing). Soon we'll be able to discover a new cuvée, Le Clos Fouchet, a Sauvignon planted on a shallow clay terroir, aged in amphora, barrel and concrete tank.
