With a legacy spanning eight generations of winemakers, Tour Gallus has always been deeply rooted in the history of the Nantes wine region. In the late 1990s, the estate became a founding member of Cru Gorges—the first Cru in the Nantes wine region—already demonstrating its innovative spirit and commitment to quality. Bolstered by the arrival of a new team and built on the solid foundations laid by the nine preceding generations, the estate intends to leave its bold mark on future vintages. Committed since 1983 to sustainable farming practices under the guidance of Damien Rineau, the ninth generation, the estate is now certified organic. In keeping with this tradition, Thierry Denjean, the estate’s new owner, is breathing new life into the estate while honoring its traditions and heritage. Benefiting from a healthy environment, La Tour Gallus, now more than ever, embodies the new guard with panache.
