La Tour Gallus

With eight generations of winemakers behind it, Tour Gallus has always been deeply rooted in the history of the Nantes wine region. In the late 1990s, the estate became a founding member of Cru Gorges—the first Cru designation in the Nantes region—already demonstrating its innovative spirit and commitment to quality. Bolstered by the arrival of a new team and built on the solid foundations laid by the nine preceding generations, the estate intends to leave its bold mark on the coming vintages. Committed since 1983 to sustainable farming practices under Damien Rineau, the ninth generation, the estate is now certified organic. In this vein, Thierry Denjean, the estate’s new owner, is breathing new life into the estate while honoring its traditions and heritage. Benefiting from a healthy environment, La Tour Gallus, more than ever, embodies the new guard with panache.
