Médaille d'Or
Concours de Mâcon
"A resounding success! An ideal Quarts de Chaume for your holiday celebrations."
The years go by and remain much the same for the Davy family, who have once again produced a beautiful sweet wine. The nose reveals subtle toasted notes, followed by candied white fruits and apricot. The palate is enriched with delicious flavors of prune and honey, intense yet perfectly balanced and very seductive, an ideal marriage of volume, finesse, freshness, and generosity. It would be perfect with a noble fish or pan-fried scallops." (Le Guide Hachette 2026)

About the estate:
This 28-hectare estate, run by the Davy family for five generations, is located on the Corniche Angevine between the Loire and Layon valleys. The old wine cellar is listed (17th century) and the cellar is housed in a disused coal mine, where the wines are left to mature. A sure bet in the Anjou wine region, often in the spotlight for its sweet wines, Coteaux-du-Layon and Quarts-de-Chaume in particular.
