"Calling all lovers of complex, well-balanced white wines!"

“This is a lovely wine that can be cellared for a while longer to develop further. At this stage, it offers ripe fruit (apricot, peach, and mango) and a silky texture, with lovely freshness and a taut, lively finish, followed by a long, citrus-driven aftertaste. A fine classic of the appellation.” (Le Guide Hachette 2025).

Hachette Wine Guide

Guide Hachette des vins

Wine noted (guide 2025) 1*Star (Very successful wine)

Rated estate (2024 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly awarded by the guide)

About wine:

This is a lovely wine that can still age a bit longer and continue to develop in the cellar. At this stage, it reveals notes of ripe fruit (apricot, peach, and mango) and a silky texture, with lovely freshness and a taut, lively finish, followed by a long, citrus-driven aftertaste. A fine classic of the appellation.

About the estate:

After gaining experience in South Africa, Jean-Marie Gazeau joined his father Michel in 2005 at the family estate (53 hectares). Their wines are regularly featured in the Guide, representing various appellations in Anjou and spanning all three wine types. A sure bet.
